Hal K. Bluestein
CPA
Hal is a 1978 Drexel University graduate, with a concentration in finance and accounting. He has worked with contractors since the beginning of his public accounting career in 1979, and served as manager of the construction accounting department at a large regional CPA firm prior to starting his own firm in 1993.
As the founder and managing partner, Hal combines strategic insight with a practical, client-focused approach to help business owners navigate every stage of growth. He specializes in consulting and succession planning, working closely with clients to strengthen operations, improve financial clarity, and design transition strategies that support long-term stability.
Hal is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Heather DeSimone
CPA
Heather joined the firm in 2001 and became a partner in 2017. Prior to joining the firm Heather lead the tax department at a local payroll company and was a bookkeeper for a global industrial equipment sales company.
As a partner in the firm, Heather brings over two decades of hands-on experience serving contractors and construction businesses of all sizes. She specializes in practical consulting, overseeing and reviewing financial statements, and providing thorough tax planning and tax return review services tailored to the unique demands of the construction industry. Known for her approachable, down-to-earth style, Heather takes the time to explain complex issues in a way clients can easily understand, helping them make confident decisions about job costing, cash flow, compliance, and long-term growth.
She is an active member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).
Lisa DeFelice
CPA
Lisa has been a dedicated member of the firm since 2004 and became partner in 2017. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Strayer University and brings more than two decades of public accounting experience to the firm.
Lisa oversees auditing, review, and compilation engagements and is known for her deep understanding of GAAP and her strong focus on construction accounting. Providing guidance to contractors, developers, and related businesses on financial reporting, internal controls, and industry-specific compliance matters. Whether guiding contractors through job schedule reporting or advising on complex financial statements, she provides practical, clear, and reliable support to clients.
She is an active member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).
